    Since its inception in 1983, the Electronics and Communication department has been active in teaching, research and industry interaction. Apart from the gradual increase in intake, in the year 2005, it has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The curriculum and syllabi of the courses are continuously updated to suit the industrial requirement and the laboratories are well equipped with the latest experimental and computational facilities for the consultancy activities in the relevant fields.
